Here you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions to help guide your choir’s audition process and participation in the show.

1. Who can audition for Choral Clash?

Any vocal group of at least 10 members is eligible to audition. We welcome:
– Community choirs
– School choirs
– Workplace choirs
– Independent music groups
– Church choirs (but the show is not limited to gospel or religious music)

No. While Choral Clash is based in Cameroon, choirs from any country are welcome to audition and participate, provided they can commit to the schedule and travel if selected.

Submit a 2-minute audition video featuring your choir performing one or two songs. Please note:
– The video must not have been previously published on any social media or public platform.
– Ensure good audio and visual quality so judges can properly assess your performance.

No. Choral Clash celebrates musical diversity. You can perform any genre: traditional, classical, jazz, pop, gospel, Afrobeat, or a fusion—surprise us with your creativity!

There is no age limit. However, any member of your choir who is under 16 years old must submit a signed parental or guardian consent form along with the audition entry.

No. Each choir should submit only one audition video. Choose your strongest performance that best represents your group.

Yes! Even choirs that are not selected for the main competition are still eligible for the Fan Favorite Prize based on their social media engagement. Your audition video may be featured online, so make sure to encourage your community to support your post.

The Fan Favorite is the choir with the most social media interactions (likes, comments, shares, views) on our official platforms. This includes both selected and non-selected choirs. Engagement counts from the time of your video’s posting until the show finale.

No. Auditions are free. There is no charge to submit your video or participate in the show if selected.

– Your video will be reviewed by our panel of judges.
– Selected choirs will be contacted via email or phone with next steps.
– Finalists will be publicly announced on our website and social media channels.

You are free to perform a cappella or with instrumental backing (live or pre-recorded), as long as your choir’s vocals remain the focus.

Upload details and the official submission link/form will be provided on our website and social media pages. Ensure your contact information and choir bio are included in the submission form.

Yes. Selected choirs will need to be available for in-person filming in Cameroon. We will share schedules and support logistics where possible.

While some basic support may be offered, choirs are generally expected to manage their own transport and accommodation unless otherwise stated by the organizers.

By submitting a video, you grant Choral Clash the rights to use it for promotional purposes across our platforms. However, your choir retains credit and ownership of your performance.
